Gausta Ski Resort
Gausta is a hidden gem resort set in Telemark, a region of Norway, known to be the birthplace of modern skiing. Perched at an impressive 1,880m altitude, Gausta sees reliable snowfall and fantastic skiing conditions for most of the season. The magnificent Gaustatoppen Mountain towers over this pretty resort, serving outstanding views for lucky skiers on their snowy explorations. The resort itself is beautiful, with wooden cabins, pine forests and an icy lake that creates a magical, Scandinavian mountain-feel throughout the resort.
Gausta is an all-round excellent resort for avid and beginner skiers alike. The main ski area is comprised of three peaks: Fjellheisen, Skipsfjell and Vatnedalheisen.
