Meet the Ski Solutions Team

Ski Solutions is Britain’s original tailor-made ski tour operator and largest specialist ski travel agency. We’ve been arranging ski holidays for over 35 years across Europe and North America, and have a pretty good idea of what’s needed for a truly memorable ski holiday.

I started skiing at the age of four…after finally figuring out how to get the boots on, I was sold! Since then, I’ve gone on to complete six seasons and travel to more than 30 resorts.

Being fortunate enough to have grandparents living in Canada when I was little, I started skiing when I was just four years old.

I completed three seasons in Courchevel, Val Thorens, and in La Tania. I joined Ski Solutions in 2016 and have been passing on my knowledge ever since!

I started skiing at the age of four and I’ve not stopped since! I was very fortunate to ski with my family every year across Europe growing up.

I have completed five seasons in total, both in the Northern and Southern hemispheres. I began skiing at the age of three and haven’t stopped!

I have been with Ski Solutions for more than 30 years. I fell in love with the US resorts in my gap year, and now specialise in North America ski holidays.

I have been lucky enough to be a part of the development of the business since 2002. Skiing is my passion; I’ve been hooked since a school trip in 1994.

I’ve been a ski writer since 2004, specialising in how to travel to ski resorts by train. I’m always discovering new routes and great resorts to travel to.

I have worked at Ski Solutions since 2017 and have been working in the ski travel industry since 2010, with a few years out to travel and do a couple of seasons.

I first fell in love with skiing after a long weekend in Westendorf in Austria, aged only five. Since then, I have gone on to do three seasons.

I tackled my first ski season in Tremblant, Canada. I then went on to work for three years in Courchevel 1850, firstly as a ski guide, then as a ski tech.

I am the Managing Director of Ski Solutions and CFO of the wider Active Travel Group and have been with the business since 2018.

I joined Ski Solutions in 2004, having skied from a young age. I grew up outside Munich and had easy access to the Bavarian and Austrian mountains.

I’ve been working for ski tour operators for many years and have had some fantastic experiences in more than 70 ski resorts across the globe.

I have worked in various winter sport industry guises since 2005, from teaching snowboarding in Canada, to running winter trade shows.

In 2005 I packed up my bags and escaped to Courchevel. I played hard, skied hard and worked even harder so I could maximise my time on the slopes.

I moved to Switzerland with my family when I was six years old and within a few months, I was already skiing.

With my mum being a ski coach at the Woolwich dry slope, my family got me into the sport from a young age, and I quickly fell in love with the mountains.

I studied Tourism Management at university before teaching English in Sapporo, Japan. I was able to ski the incredible powder every weekend!

I have completed four seasons across the Alps. I began skiing at 16 in a small ski resort called Alpbach in Austria and after that I was well and truly hooked.

Nicknamed ‘The Snow Hunter’ I’ve been writing about ski holidays since my first book ‘The Essential Ski Holiday Guide’ was published in 1985.

I first experience skiing by being forced to go on a university ski trip. After days of tantrums I finally caught the bug and a ski addict was born. I now have spent almost 10 years in the industry.

I skied for the first time aged 18 while at university. It was on my placement year at a ski company where I caught the bug and have loved it ever since.

I was a latecomer to skiing, first trying the sport in my mid-twenties. Luckily I loved it and continued to complete two seasons in Whistler, Canada.

Growing up I developed a love of adventure and awe of the mountains. My first skiing experience was aged four in the Portes du Soleil ski area.

I first skied at the age of 23. After finishing university I fancied doing something different, so I decided to go and live in the Alps.

I’ve worked in the travel industry for more than 15 years, previously for a number of specialist ski agencies before moving on to Ski Solutions.

I started arranging ski trips when I was 16 for myself and some classmates, and have since been working in the ski industry for more than 10 years.

After a number of years working in recruitment, I made the decision to move into an industry I am passionate for; I am so glad I did!
