Voss Ski Resort
Voss ski resort is located in Western Norway and is one of the largest in the region, with a varied number of slopes for all levels. The ski resort is home to some of the best snow in the northern hemisphere and skiers can take advantage of the exceptional off-piste terrain. The resort can be reached from Bergen airport in just 90 minutes, either by car or train, making it an ideal ski resort for groups who are looking for a short break away.
Voss ski resort has 45km of groomed slopes and 11 ski lifts, including a gondola that allows direct access from the city centre in under ten minutes. The ski resort is perfectly suited for beginners and families, with many slopes being green and blue, and three dedicated fun ski areas for children. Though, there are two freestyle parks for those looking for some adrenaline. Voss ski resort also offers 11km night skiing three times a week in case you haven’t had your fix in the day.
The dedicated ski areas are Trollbakken, Grebbesbakken and Badnakorkjen. Trollbakken is located in front of Hangurstoppen restaurant and has a gentle slope and a 65m magic carpet, it can be accessed from the main gondola from the city centre.
Grebbesbakken ski area is located in Bavallen, this an ideal area for skiers to familiarise themselves and progress at their own pace.
