La Folie Douce, Val d’Isere, France
La Folie Douce is a well-renowned chain of bars in France now. The original bar was in Val d’Isere and it still delivers as one of the best après ski bars in the world. It was opened in 1981 by entrepreneur Luc Reversade and his mother and head chef Mamone. Their vision of great food and drink mixed with open-air live shows still lives on today. Expect dancing on tables and incredible shows throughout the season.
Million Dollar Cowboy Bar, Jackson Hole, USA
It’s like stepping into a western cowboy scene when you head to the Million Dollar Cowboy Bar in Jackson Hole. It is truly one of the most unique bars linked to a ski resort. It is internationally famous for its live country music acts and western dancing shows. Celebrities through to presidents have all visited the bar when in Wyoming. Tea Del Vida, Livigno, Italy
Tea Del Vidal has a brilliant atmosphere and is often packed to the rafters. Expect dancing to Euro-pop music and flaming drinks when you visit the popular bar in Livigno. The Farinet, Verbier, Switzerland
The liveliest spot in Verbier is always the Farinet. Lots of après ski bands from around the world visit to perform at the legendary bar. There’s beer on tap and a lot of table dancing throughout the season. The roof of the building is literally taken off on sunny days so you can enjoy apres in the sun. The Londoner, Kitzbühel , Austria
Steeped in history, The Londoner is one the most famous bars in Austria. The winners of the classic Hahnenkamm downhill ski race will traditionally have a drink and party in the bar after their win. It is themed like a classic English pub and has been open since 1973 by Rod Stewart’s former manager Rik Gunnell. It is now a must-visit place within Kitzbühel. A home from home for Brits that visit the establishment.

Based at the bottom of the slopes in Whistler, The Longhorn Saloon is where the part starts in the resort. Expect loud music throughout the day and a fun welcoming atmosphere. The Rond-Point, Méribel , France
The Rond-Point Bar in Méribel is for the real party-goers. Located at the top of the slopes it has some of the best views of the ski area. The Harakiri bar in Mayrhofen is one of the most lively in the Austrian ski resort. Named after the steepest run in Austria, the bar has DJ nights throughout the season. It has a purple and pink-themed interior making it stand out from other alpine bars. A great place to let your hair down after a day on the slopes.
