I moved to Switzerland with my family when I was six years old and within a few months, I was already skiing. As a family, we learned to ski at weekends, in resorts like Verbier, Nendaz, and Saas Fee (to name a few), and at local ski fields in the Jura region where we lived (we had a ski drag lift 500m away from the family home where you would find me on Wednesday evenings and most weekends during the winter). I was also very lucky to go on school ski ‘camps’ every winter to progress my ski experience. I also learned to snowboard.

I became a holiday rep in 2000 and worked many ski seasons around France and one season in Andorra. I worked as a rep, ski guide, chalet host, and resort manager up until 2013 when I put my suitcases away and returned to the UK. After my return, I worked in other travel sectors (school travel & golf) before returning to ski, here at Ski Solutions in 2022.
