Chambre Neuf
Situated at the top end of town next to the train station, Chambre Neuf is the most popular and loudest après ski bar in Chamonix; live music plays from 5-7 pm Sunday-Friday. Expect British and Scandi holidaymakers, dancing on tables and taking advantage of the two for one happy hour between 9 and 10 pm.
La Terrasse
Known for its Saturday après ski sessions, this live music destination is perfectly designed for British skiers looking to wind down. Incredible live music is on every day, kicking off at about 7pm. This is the ultimate spot for skiers looking to party. Located centrally within Chamonix, La Terrasse hovers over the river with its striking pink art deco façade. Élévation 1904
Located opposite Chambre Neuf, just off the high street. Élévation 1904 has a more relaxed approach to après ski; leave your skis at the door, grab a cosy interior seat or unwind on the heated terrace. This slightly more sophisticated approach to après ski will leave you mingling with local ski instructors and mountain regulars.
L’Amnesia
As the biggest (and one of the only) clubs in Chamonix, L’Amnesia is the perfect spot for late-night escapades. Known for its recognisable international DJs, you can expect to hear a range of House, Electro, and RnB. Situated centrally, L’Amnesia is no further than a few moments’ walk from Chamonix Sud.
Monkey
Known locally for its laid-back atmosphere, Monkey prides itself on its authentic Mexican menu offering homemade burgers, tacos, and nachos. In keeping with the Mexican theme, most cocktails are tequila-based. The bar offers an extensive selection of larger, ales, and craft beer. Expect chilled-out après ski vibes; DJ sets, pub quizzes, and jazzy brunches.
