Discover the diverse areas of Vancouver, from Main Street’s independent boutiques and coffee shops of Commercial Drive, to the galleries of Gastown, the city’s historic neighbourhood. Wander along Water Street past vintage lamp posts to the famous steam clock. Ascend the 40-second elevator to views of the city at the Vancouver Lookout. The Vancouver Art Gallery has more than 11,000 visual artworks, including an extensive Emily Carr collection.
There are an abundance of sites to explore and learn more about Vancouver, especially when sports are concerned. The NHL (National Hockey League) is an institution here, where the Vancouver Canucks rule. We urge you to squeeze in a game if there’s time.
