Skiing in Kitzbühel
Kitzbühel has almost 180km of ski terrain to explore, making it one of the largest in Austria. The slopes favour intermediate level skiers the most, with the majority being red runs. There are, however, a good number of blues to learn on, as well as several black runs to progress turns.
The Hahnenkamm ski area is the largest part of Kitzbühel’s ski sector, and home to one of the most famous downhill ski races. For those who enjoy off-piste, there is more than 200km to discover.
Dining in Kitzbühel
For classic traditional Austrian meals, Kitzbühel is a fantastic place to go. Huberbräu-Stüberl is one of our favourite recommendations. It serves regional dishes and Tyrolean specialities in a cosy, welcoming inn.
For something less traditional on your luxury ski holiday in Kitzbühel, visit KITZnBAR for great sushi in a relaxed rooftop setting. First Lobster is also fantastic for delicious seafood.
Winter Activities in Kitzbühel
Kitzbühel has many exciting activities that non-skiers will love. Try snowshoeing, tobogganing, ice skating or ice curling when you’re not skiing. Plus, there are so many fun events that occur during the season including the Snow Polo World Cup and The Hahnenkamm Races.
