Charlie
I grew up in Cornwall and started skiing at the age of four, when my family headed out to Les Deux Alpes for my first time on the slopes. After a few days at ski school, and finally figuring out how to get the boots on… I was sold!
My sister and I always loved sledding and making snowmen after ski school, or the occasional snowball fight. I was then lucky enough to go on family ski holidays to France, Austria, and Bulgaria every few years as a child. By the age of 18, I was heading out for my first ski season and since then, I’ve visited 31 ski resorts across France, Austria, Italy, Switzerland, Finland, and Bulgaria.
After my ski season, I fell in love with life in the mountains and moved between France, Italy, and Austria for six seasons. I started as a Chalet Host, before moving on to Rep and became a Resort Manager. Since being back in the UK, I’ve worked for multiple operators specialising in all things ski.
Top Tip
Take in the views and enjoy it. Though, don’t forget your sunnies and SPF!
Best Skiing Moment
A hard question to answer!
I’ve had so many great experiences on the mountain. From enjoying a slope-side barbeque in a Finnish Laavu followed by a sunset ski to seeing hot air balloons float across Zell am See for their Balloonalps celebrations.
