Roundhouse Lodge
The biggest restaurant on both Whistler and Blackcomb mountains, Roundhouse Lodge is also home to the impressive Olympic Legacy display. The lodge houses three food courts as well as a full service dining restaurant. Steeps Grill & Wine Bar creates local dishes such as BC sockeye salmon and succotash and west coast hot pot full of BC prawns, ling cod and manila clams. The Roundhouse lodge is also the where you’ll dive into a Fresh Tracks mountain top breakfast before skiing freshly fallen snow before everyone else.
Raven’s Nest
Conveniently located at the top of the quieter Creekside Gondola, the Raven’s Nest is Whistler’s first all-vegetarian restaurant. Herbivores and carnivores will unite in their love of the fresh, nutritious fare, from the vegan meatball sub, to the vegan beef and mushroom sandwich that comes complete with vegan swiss.
Araxi Restaurant and Bar
Repeatedly named Best Restaurant in Whistler for over 10 years, Araxi is recognised internationally as an excellent example of farm-to-table dining. All ingredients on offer are locally and responsibly sourced, and when combined with innovative cooking techniques and talent, the result is spectacular. See for yourself by ordering the succulent Canada triple A beef tenderloin steak with potato and aged cheddar gratin.
Rimrock Café
Since opening in 1987, Rimrock restaurant has been the destination for fresh fish and game. Menu options include seared rare tuna and ahi poke and venison tenderloin served with foie gras, porcini gnocchi and red wine demi glace. Just make sure you book in advance – this place is understandably pretty popular!
Splitz Grill
Serving what may well be the best burger in the world, Splitz Grill has become something of a Ski Solutions favourite. It’s the perfect place feed up on succulent burgers and double-cooked fries after a long day on the slopes.
Mongolie Grill
For a meal that’s more of an event, head to the Mongolie Grill where your chosen ingredients are theatrically grilled right there in front of you. This isn’t all about style though – the resulting dishes taste just as good as they look.
Fat Tony’s Pizza
Sometimes nothing but pizza will do. Pop into Fat Tony’s for sesame crust pizzas with innovative toppings like the signature beef and blue cheese. They deliver too so it doesn’t even matter how lazy you’re feeling.
